Broker integration is where most platforms stop short
Connecting to a broker API sounds simple until you encounter the differences: one broker uses FIX protocol, another uses a proprietary REST endpoint, a third requires a desktop bridge application. Learningpathz maintains a library of pre-built connectors for the brokers most used by Kenyan retail traders — including MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 compatible brokers, and several ECN providers common in the East African market. Adding a broker account is a form-based process: you paste your API key and secret, confirm the read/write permission scope, and the platform validates the connection within thirty seconds. No code required.
Multi-broker execution: what it looks like in practice
Once two or more brokers are connected, you can assign the same strategy to all of them with different risk parameters per account. For example: your primary Exness account might run at full lot sizing while a secondary prop-firm account runs at half size with tighter stops. The azure-clean monitoring dashboard shows all connected accounts in a single unified view — open positions, today's closed trades, and each account's running drawdown — refreshed every five seconds. If one broker connection fails, the platform flags it and queues any pending orders so they don't fire on an incomplete set of accounts.

Secure API credential storage
Your broker API keys are stored encrypted at rest using AES-256. They are never logged in plain text and are not accessible to Learningpathz support staff.
Connection-drop resilience
If a broker connection drops mid-session, the platform queues pending orders and retries with exponential backoff. Reconnections are logged and visible in your dashboard audit trail.
